ABOUT
W Design is a one-woman show by me, Emily Wolfram.
Hello! And thanks for visiting W Design.
I am "the Emily" of W Design, and I’ve spent years of my professional life working in marketing: planning and executing various campaigns and building and managing websites for great organizations and companies. Much of my past experience was in the world of nonprofit arts organizations where I have been afforded some awesome opportunities to learn and hone my craft as a communicator. Along the way there were many lessons about website usability, customer service, storytelling, branding, messaging, graphic design, communications, relationships, and—most importantly—the joy in contributing to others’ success.
At some point I started making websites a side-hustle. I was inspired by the thought that I could help people create an essential business tool while making it a simple enough process that they could stay focused on the day-to-day work of running their business. It has been a joy to help clients create websites that truly represent who they are and bring well-deserved attention to the great work they do.
Now W Design is my main gig! After many successful projects and really happy clients, I’ve decided to just do this all the time (except on powder days and camping trips). I have deep, deep gratitude for the past clients, colleagues, and mentors who have been part of my journey so far. And I am thrilled to continue this work under my own banner, W Design.

About Emily
Emily Wolfram was born and raised in Northern California and received a Bachelor of Music in music management and cello performance from California State University, Sacramento. During her time in Sacramento, Emily freelanced, taught cello lessons, and worked with several arts organizations including the Sacramento Ballet, New Millennium Chamber Music Series, and the All Hallows Academy Orchestra. She also completed Suzuki Cello Book 1 teacher training with Pam Davenport at the Intermountain Suzuki String Institute in Draper, Utah.
In 2009 Emily moved to Hartford, Connecticut where she continued to teach cello and freelance. In 2010 she joined the staff of The Hartt School Community Division at the University of Hartford where she served as the Marketing and Communications Administrator for a community music and dance school serving over two thousand students from the region. In 2014 she moved to Chicago after accepting the position of Director of Admissions and Finance at the Western Springs School of Talent Education and the Naperville Suzuki School, one of the most highly regarded Suzuki programs in the nation. While living in Chicago, Emily continued performing with the Oak Park River Forest Symphony.
Emily moved to Great Falls, Montana in 2016 with her husband, bassoonist Dorian Antipa, when he was appointed principal bassoon for the Great Falls Symphony and the Chinook Winds Quintet. Around this time, Emily started her web-design freelancing business under emilyrwolfram.com. She also served the Great Falls Symphony as Manager of Core Ensembles. Emily resigned from her administrative role with the Great Falls Symphony in 2019 but continued to perform in the cello section until 2024.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Emily continued to freelance with Montana symphonies and teach cello. In 2022 Emily returned to the field of arts administration and advocacy, joining the Montana Performing Arts Consortium (MPAC) as its Executive Director. In 2023, she joined the staff of the Association for Creatine Deficiencies (ACD) as the Programs Coordinator. Emily had a deep appreciation for the mission, staff, board, and fulfilling work of ACD but ultimately chose to resign so she would have time to launch W Design and focus on website design and marketing consulting.
In addition to running W Design, Emily also still serves a part-time role as the Executive Director of MPAC. She also maintains a private teaching studio and performs as a substitute with the Billings Symphony Orchestra. When she isn't building websites, planning MPAC conferences, or gleefully building spreadsheets—Emily enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, playing ice hockey, skiing, rock climbing, knitting, geology, and exploring Montana.
